Going out into Broadbeach tonight. Can't wait to wear my new Sass and Bide dress and my Maurie and Eve Biker boot. I love Indian cuisine and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I have no interesting thing or anything worth saying.

We all have hope, we just have to find it within ourselves first.

I feel like I'm losing contacts with a majority of my friends. Maybe because I miss them too much and I have no idea when they are free, or what they are up to these days. People..invite me places haha I want to wear my new shoes out!

During the second semester of this year, I;ve learned how to improve the look of my resume and how to write a professional one, in comparison to an average one. Ever since I have fixed my resume I've been getting heaps of interviews..I really need to work on my interview techniques though. I don't want a job in retail anymore, I want an office job. I've recently found out with my internship next year, I can either do a one year PR internship, or a half year PR and the other half Marketing, which I think is pretty good. The marketing internship looks complex (the application process), I'm going to try really hard to get into that one.

These flowers I took are those given to me over the past year by Canellis. I press them, dry them. I want to keep them forever because I adore their beauty, their colours, and their skin. They are good for memories. My own personal memories. I have more but they are in my Kurt Cobain's Journal.

My aunt left for Thailand yesterday, soon it would be my cousins, uncle and his wife. I will be looking after three dogs, and a kitten. My summer life. On a good note, Canellis's parents are giving us VIP pass to Movie World, Sea World and Wet 'n' Wild, which is valid till June of next year. Wet 'n' Wild...I will live in you.

Last night I went over to Canellis's house, and we drove to Broadbeach for Starbucks and Indian food. It was the best.

Pins and needles

Today as the lecturer for my corporate communication and pr class was informing us about our exam, I thought to myself. Why am I taking this subject? Why am I doing this degree? Why aren't I doing something more creative? It's not me at all. Then I realised, I've picked B. Communication, because I wanted to challenge myself. Sure I can do more creative subject such as fine arts, but that would be too easy. Challenging myself, the way I see it, is like giving the finger to life, and saying 'hey I can do this too! I can do things I don't normally do, I'm out of my comfort soon'. It's a nice feeling. I sometimes forget public relations and marketing are the creative side of business....but base on theory and logic.

Tonight I've been studying for my media law exam..contempt, sub-judiced, disobedient contempt, freedom of speech, common law, statue law, regulations, contempt in the court of law, court reporting, revealing jury's deliberation, defamation, copyright, off the record, on the record, torts, background and so much more. It's doing my head it. I keep repeating it in my head. the definition, the key concepts. EVERYTHING! I have an 8am start tomorrow too...

On a nicer note my 8G memory card arrived in the mail and I've learned how to set the aperture on my dslr, sad I know. I've notice the photos I've taken are not the quality I want. I can do better! I'm still learning so bare with me folks. Next stop..a portable hard drive to keep all of my photos memorabilia.

I wish I took better care of my photos of friends from high school.

 

Next year I will be taking part in a third year internship for pr. I need start creating my portfolio..media releases etc. I have a feeling this will not end well.haha

Halloween is this week..I think my friends and I are going to Graves..this should be interesting. I haven't been out in so long.

p.s I miss Davey, he also post a new short story on his blog. It's pretty good.
